The new face of Mountain View golf course

With the aim to create new experiences, new challenges, and inspire golfers to play in Mountain view golf course, belonged to the course system of BRG Kings' Island Golf Resort,  BRG Group’s executives  board and experts have decided to renovate and upgrade several items of Mountain View.

The innovation includes rearranging the order of the first 9 holes reversed to the last 9 holes, increasing the distance of holes by about 80 yards length at holes no. 1, 4, 6, 13, 14, 16. In addition, there is an increase in the number of bunkers on fairway and around green to increase difficult level to the game. Especially new bunker’s type of sand is the white one which throughout the experience in many other golf courses, experts have found it really suitable for Mountain View. Then they decided to use it and will gradually replace for all remaining bunkers of the old sand.

Expanding and adding more utilities of kiosks at hole # 1. In addition to serving food and drinks, a new Proshop is added right at the kiosk to facilitate the golfers when they want to equip more tools during playing without returning to the club house that make slowdown their playing.

With 300 workers  continuously working for 8 weeks, the Mountain View golf course was officially reopenned yesterday with a golf tournament named "King of the Mountain open".  Golfers participating in the tournament are the first to experience new things of the course.

Sharing about this change, Evans Mahoney – Director of BRG Kings' Island Golf said that after 10 years of operation, he wanted something new for Mountain View golf course to attract and inspire more for golfers. He and experts of BRG Group had gone through the course and already seen some interesting points,  along with working with Jack Nicklaus recently, that helped them get a new vision to decide to change and upgrade Mountain View with new attractive features to golfers.

Along with the changes in the course, the next target of BRG Kings’ Island golf resort will be additional benefits to the course’s members such as building separate locker for membership, opening a lounge dedicated to members at the 4th floor of the clubhouse.

Mark Reeves, Director of Golf Development of BRG Group shared "After a comprehensive upgrading process, I believe the golf course of BRG Kings Island Golf Resort will become more and more attractive for both Vietnamese and international golfers. This is proof for the efforts and dedication of BRG Group which constantly bring real value for the BRG Golf Membership, as well as for golf lovers in Vietnam.

For the last recent time, BRG Group has constantly had golf projects such as building Kings course of 18 hole at Kings' Island, along with the recent completion of upgrading and renovation mentioned above that promise new experiences and more challenges for golfers to play here.
