Ba Na Hills Golf Club to host the successful Anniversary Tournament  08:36, 10/08/2017

The 18-hole stroke-play event that attracted 120 players from Vietnam & abroad was presented by Jebsen & Jessen, an international engineering, manufacturing and distribution company in South East Asia who has the Toro brand of golf turf maintenance equipment and irrigation. On the day golfers competed for a range of coveted prizes including a VND 200 million diamond ring, VND 25 million in cash for hole in one’s, international business air tickets from Cathay Pacific, Vietnam Airlines, as well as a range of accommodation packages at the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort and Premier Village Danang Resort. Equipment from leading brands Titleist, Cobra & Puma were also won.

While the champion trophy was bestowed upon Mr. Nguyễn Anh Việt who won Best Gross with a score of 76, the Best Nett was won by Mr Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc with a net score of 69. Other winners of the A Division, B Division, C Division & Ladies were won by Mr Tran Dung, Mr Tran Van Hieu, Mr Bui Ngoc Xuan & Mrs. Dao Thi Thu Hang respectively.

Golfers also had a the unique chance to beat the Pro on the par 3 hole 8 as well as win a year’s supply of Titleist Pro V1 golf balls for Nearest the Pin. A chipping competition was held during the presentation dinner under lights from the clubhouse to the 18^th green over a distance of 50 meters.

In a known first, Ba Na Hills Caddies surprised participants prior to the start of the event by preforming a “Flash Mob” dance on the putting green. This became a social media hit with over 10,000 views in the first 24 hours.

The IMG-managed Ba Na Hills Golf Club is located a half hour drive from Danang, the hosing city of Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) in early May, 2017, which is expected to attract a recorded number of golf tour operators from around the world. As part of the convention by IAGTO, two events are too hosted by Ba Na Hills Golf Club from May 7^th to 12^th, 2017.
