Asian Development Tour - Asia's Leading Tournament System

Established in 2010, the Asian Development Tour has received the welcome and support of a large number of golfers around the world.

Danang city will be the destination to attract all the attention of golf lovers in Vietnam when hosting the BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022. This is the first time this beautiful coastal city has the honor to host a regional golf event under the Asian Development Tour system, which brings together talented golfers from Asia, as well as other countries around the world.

BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is the first event ADT in Vietnam.

Established in 2010 as a playground for professional golfers, the Asian Development Tour has received the welcome and support of a large number of golfers around the world. This is a system for golfers to find cards to attend the Asian Tour, similar to the Korn Ferry Tour of the PGA Tour or The Challenge Tour of the DP World Tour.

Specifically, the Top 5 golfers who have won the most prize money in the season of ADT will be entitled to participate in the Asian Tour in the next season. The tournaments of the Asian Development Tour have a prize fund from 70,000 to 110,000 USD.

In 2015, ADT held 28 events. However, in recent years, because of the pandemic, the number of tournaments has decreased significantly. In 2020, only 1 tournament was held, the Boonchu Ruangkit Championship, an event in conjunction with the All Thailand Golf Tour. The last time a full season of ADT was held was in 2019 with 19 events and a total prize fund of 1.4 million USD.

In 2022, there will be a total of 12 tournaments organized by ADT, mainly in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand or Indonesia. BRG Open Golf Championship Danang 2022 is honored to be the only tournament under the Asian Development Tour to be held in Vietnam.
