Choo Tze Huang heads the Singapore Pro Series Invitational presented by FTAG's leaderboard
The Singapore Pro Series Invitational presented by FTAG started on March 24 at the Sentosa Golf Course, following the announcement by the Singapore Golf Association (SGA) last week that a new series of local professional golf events will begin this month.
Coming first on today’s leaderboard, Singaporean golfer Choo Tze Huang, said, “Today, I was mentally in the zone and avoided big numbers which can easily happen on the Serapong course. Tomorrow, I will go in with the same strategy, stay focused, have some fun and hope to come out on top again!”
The series opener is the first golf event to take place in Singapore since last year. 16 tournament days, or eight legs, have been scheduled for the inaugural season – where touring professionals, both male and female, and leading national amateurs will compete over two days (36 holes) for a S$10,600 prize fund.
Each leg will also count towards the ‘Race to FTAG Cup’, where the winner of the Order of Merit will receive a bonus of S$10,000.
