These researches provide simple and transparent results, help tour operators adjust golf packages, help hotel managers understand the services that are suitable and interesting for golfers, and help government agencies set specific targets to attract potential tourists.

European Tour golf tournaments are not only in Europe but also in Africa, Oceania, Asia, such as in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Korea, as well as tournaments in India, China, Singapore and Malaysia have been open to golf travel to these destinations.
